I never really know how to write these about me sections, but i'm going to make a stab at it and try to represent myself as best as I can.

I'm a 32 year old college graduate who has spent the last several years working various office jobs. After deciding my most recent job was causing me more stress than it was really worth, I quit and decided to take some time off. That was this last November.

Another thing: last year I bought a video camera because I wanted to start making movies. What type of movies, I'm still not completely certain, but I have this camera I want to do something with. Unfortunately, the job I mentioned earlier was far too needy to give me time for many other hobbies. Yet another reason for me to quit,

So, to start this year off, am traveling with my camera. I have some places I want to go, but mostly I want to capture interesting moments. This is what I'm setting out to do for now. If you can help with a place to stay, I would appreciate it. I try to be kind and gracious and easygoing, and I will be the best guest that I can.

Also, I'm fairly new to couchsurfing myself, but I used to live in a cooperative house in Memphis that often hosted guests. Seems like a relevant detail to include.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the reasons stated on the "About me" section, mostly. I want to travel and capture moments around the country while I am still free to do so. When I decided to quit my job, realized I was in a rather unique position. I have very few obligations and enough money bless to be able to do this. This is the first time in my life that this has happened, and life being what it is, who knows if I'll have this opportunity again? So, I'm taking it and seeing what I find.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have vast tastes, but I really appreciate any kind of really in depth artistry. Also, I like anything that could have meanings on multiple levels. Layers make me happy, even when the layers themselves are not happy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 23, I packed up all of my stuff and moved to Brooklyn for two years without any jobs or prospects, just to make my way as best as I could. It's not super amazing, but it's a thing, :)
