Overview
About Me
I'm told I am friendly and smart. I like working out, mostly lifting weights. Technically inclined, savvy with most technology, but no, I won't fix your computer! 😁 Not very political, but I grew up working hard for everything and can't stand the entitlement mentality. I like intelligent conversation and learning about people, places, and things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I heard about CS from a waitress one day while dining at a restaurant. I was intrigued, and though I haven't traveled much outside the US, I'd like to, so I joined to find out more for when I have the opportunity. I'd also like to meet new people and make new friends.
Interests
I don't follow the mainstream. I verify the facts and I'm not afraid to follow a different path. I like learning about history, but I don't believe everything I'm told, just because someone said it's so.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love most music. Grew up listening to rock and metal. I played guitar in a band. I listen to music from the 80's to today mostly. I also enjoy country music, classical, Latin, and flamenco. I don't read many novels, but I did enjoy Dan Brown. I mostly read tech related publications and manuals (yawn), as well as personal improvement books from people like Tony Robbins, Dale Carnegie, Brian Tracy, Stephen Covey, and Napoleon Hill. My favorite books are "Think and Grow Rich", and the Bible.
