I'm good humored, it doesn't take much to make me smile.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland. I moved to Boulder, Colorado in January 2013 for my university education. I would have to take out student loans to pay for the rest of school, and since I currently do not have any debt I decided to travel the world before I go back and finish my university education.

I have a very open mind, and I'm very analytical. I love understanding how things work, and I love developing skills.

I'm a little bit of a hippie: I try to radiate love. I am trying to become vegan (so far I'm almost vegetarian haha). I recycle like crazy. I will actually pick up trash on sidewalks and put it in the trashcan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to be able to meet locals in a genuine way. I really don't like doing touristy things while being surrounded by tourists. And sure, I want to see the cool sights and take pictures, but I mostly want to understand other human cultures and ways of life. I want I also want to find ways to save money while traveling too, duh.

Interests

Guitar, ukulele (music!), skateboarding/snowboarding, i would love to learn to surf. Camping/hiking. Cooking/eating healthy. I'm pretty athletic and love to play organized sports like american football, soccer, ultimate frisbee, tennis, etc but i dont care enough to join leagues. I love a good pickup game between friends, though. I'll play in tournaments.

Honestly, I love all music (except for pop. Occasionally I'll get addicted to one pop song but I can't listen to that stuff all day. It kills my soul lol).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed 16 Colorado 14ers (that's mountains over 14,000 feet altitude). It's always a pain to hike up those things but you get a nice view :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Lets jam together. I can vaguely mess around on a piano but i'm good at guitar & ukulele. I also sing.

Teach me how to though-hike for days (if not weeks) at a time.

Lets learn how to eat and cook healthy (i'm trying to become more and more vegetarian all the time).

Teach me gardening, I don't know anything about it but I want to!

Teach me how to surf.
