About Me
Hey everyone!
I'm Paul, born and raised in adventurous Berlin and now an a mission to explore the world.
So far I've spent 4 years living in Lisbon and Barcelona where I worked in customer service and online marketing. While living there I discovered my passion for surfing and learning new languages, among others.
Then I did a one year doing work and travel in New Zealand, where I bought a van to go around the country and worked in various areas like hospitality, construction and on farms.
After that I travelled to New Caledonia for 2 months, where I had badluck with the timing, as 2 days after my arrival the civil unrest started. But thanks to some kind locals who let me stay on their couches I made it through that time and then flew to Sydney.
Now I'm here in Australia on a tourist-visa to travel up the eastcoast from Sydney to Cairns by hitch-hiking!
It would be awesome if I could find some locals who'd let me stay on their couches for a few nights along the way. I'd be more than happy to help with chores and cooking for exchange ;)
I consider myself open-minded, chilled and curious but in the end it's up to you how you feel about me ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the idea of giving and receiving and I find it more appealing to meet locals and see how people life in other places, rather than just staying in a hotel.
