Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to be part of an international exchange of ideas! Being from the United States offers unique advantages: many cultures and access to learning resources to name a few. However, being so far from direct African, Asian, Australian, South American, and European influence has left me yearning for a more tangible experience. I think that couchsurfing will allow me to experience new foods, new ideas, and new people in an undiluted setting. Person to person!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have cycled, unsupported, around Lake Superior. This six day journey covered 1050 miles (1700 km).

I would like to learn Spanish(though any language in which I can pick up words is great), piano, and salsa dancing.
I can teach English and climbing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a fairly good cook! I have enough stories to be interesting for at least one night.
