ABOUT ME
In a nutshell, ...
I live in Nashville, Tennessee with my darling wife, Genny, and my scruffy dog, Otto. I've recently finished my undergraduate degree in Architecture at the University of Tennessee and I'm working on tying to find a meaningful place to work. Making and building things are passions of mine: drawings, machines, music, woodwork, everything and anything has the potential to captivate the imagination. I approach everyday with the desire ask questions, understand, and create. I stay busy, make stuff, read, and generally eat a lot.
PHILOSOPHY
Let the mundane spark interest. Think, learn, help, and share.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I got the chance to stay with some great folks during a North Eastern US excursion. Boston and Philadelphia were both wonderful, it was so nice to meet new people and learn about places from those who call it home. I've never formally hosted a Courchsurfer, but we've let plenty of folks crash on our sofa!
Interests
how-to books, biking, bird watching, burritos, npr, composting, community activism, dumpster diving, early aviation, guitar making, guitar playing, learning about our planet and its precious resources, space, volunteering at our local bike collective, I like to sketch, read when I can, and take a walk though the woods as as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love the accessibility of acoustic music and simple folk tunes. No electricity required, you can play it anywhere. My favorite songs are the ones that everyone can sing along with and are meant to be shared and passed along.
I love reading out our environment, popular science, and social justice.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bike touring FEELS amazing
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm typically busy throughout the work week, but when time permits, a walk to a venue/bar/gallery/cafe is totally doable. A tour of downtown is a must, preferably, a tour on bike!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Most importantly I will share my gratefulness and consideration for their home. With life as busy as it is, it means so much that you have given me a place to stay!
Beyond that, I'd love to share a song, drawings, and conversations about thoughts on life.
