About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I would like to have new experiences, make new friends, meet interesting people, and have fun while I'm still young.. Life is short - Use it or lose it!!

ABOUT ME

My friends would describe me as down to earth, easy-going, someone who loves the outdoors.
They may say I'm a bit crazy, but in a good way ;)
I am passionate about my career, and my sport, especially Mountain Biking.
I would like to travel the world, gain new experiences, and meet interesting people.
You only live once - YOLO!!!

PHILOSOPHY

Right now I am going where life takes me... trying to make the most of my youth :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing only for the time being... I have a great couch, but I share a house with 5 other young professionals... so can't host for the moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brand new to couch surfing, hoping to make some new experiences soon!!

Interests

I work hard and play hard, whether its on the social spectrum, or my sport and hobby - Mountain Biking, Running, Swimming, Surfing.
I am fortunate enough to be able to combine my passion for sustainability with my job in Research & Development at Unilever.
I enjoy experiencing different cultures, and different people - it's what makes the world such an interesting, exciting place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a variety of music - rock, metal, drum & bass, dance.. I really enjoy live music, and I have a bucket list of bands I would like to see. I'm slowly finding time to read books, inbetween work, social and sport.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cycled the Cape Argus, which is the largest cycle race in the world - nearly 50,000 participants.
I live in Durban, where the temperature is around 25 degrees in winter, and you can surf all year.. thats pretty amazing I'd say!!
I am soon to be attending the 'One Young World' conference in Pittsburgh, where we will discuss economic, political and environmental sustainability among others. Some of the counselors include Bill Clinton, Jamie Oliver, Mohammed Yunnus and others.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you to surf :)
