About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Similar to Ethan Hunts last mission except more impossible.

ABOUT ME

Well, it is time for an update here as the world tour is well and truly over and back to reality it is but surprisingly is not so bad. After my travels across South America - NZ & OZ - Indonesia then up through SE Asia I have landed in Canada. I am on a 2 year working visa and back working in my trade as an Electrician. I made a quick pit stop back home in Scotland unpacked, repacked, seen some old friendly faces, had a night out or 2 and then made my way over here to face the freezing Canadian winter. Since I have been here though I have not had any time to go explore and see what Canada has to offer. I have been flat out with work which has its good and bad points I suppose. Anyway St Paddy's day is fast approaching and it looks like I have landed the long weekend off so prefect time to head to another City and see whats on offer :0

Tonight 4th December and I realise I have hardly been on here since I moved to Canada. If you have read my 'about me you will see I was on a 2 year visa, well now this is almost the end of my 2 years but I have applied to stay longer so fingers crossed everything works out. Dispassionately in my time here I have seen zilch really of Canada which is a poor effort in my part, I have though been to the States a few times which was fun. Boston, NYC, LA, San Diego and Vegas :) Where I will actually be heading back to next weekend for the UFC !!!

With Christmas fast approaching and not being able to fly back to Scotland I think I will make my way to Vancouver, check into a hostel and hopefully meet some cool people to spend the holidays with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't done much participating to be honest. I have though met up with some fellow surfers on my travels one who stands out was a girl we met in Rio and she took us to her local drinking spot which was fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Still not surfed a couch but managed to kind of surf a wave in Brasil.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am in to all genres of music I love my techno (have been to some great festivals in my time), listen to heavy metal, rock, hip hop even pop stuff on the radio.

I read quite a lot of books I enjoy reading books about modern warfare I probably should have joined the military but at 18 that was not a career I had any interest in pursuing. Autobiographies of my favourites sports persons or musicians interest me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got to scuba dive a ship wreck (not really a ship more of a Ferry but still cool)

Countries I’ve Visited

Afghanistan, Australia, Iraq, Italy, Macedonia, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States
