About Me

CURRENT MISSION

learn to be human

ABOUT ME

My best friends would hopefully tell you that I'm a helpful, empathetic guy that likes to dream big dreams. They may tell you that I tell too many bad puns! I LOVE MUSIC AND COULD JUST LISTEN TO MUSIC AND SPACE OUT FOR HOURS -- sometimes I do. I have a philosophical nature and I am always amazed by the world around me.

PHILOSOPHY

Be kind. Be patient. Try to do what scares you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I just surf. Soon, I would like to host! I want to share my community with other travelers and show them what makes Detroit a special place. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! It's not all that bad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I have met some excellent people, and I have been humbled.

Interests

EXPLORATION. DISCOVERY. ADVENTURE. I love learning about the world, and the different ways people live. I like language, the mind, music, skate and surf, and video and photo.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes are eclectic; I'm always down to hear new stuff.

I seldom see movies. You wouldn't believe what I haven't seen.

I read more non-fiction but I like a good novel every so often.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once we drove from Detroit to Los Angeles, and I was able to experience the beauty of the American west firsthand. Natural beauty always amazes me. But I am also amazed by random acts of kindness; the kind that inspire me to be a better person.

Once I climbed a cliff on the side of a highway in eastern Ohio. It was surreal -- somehow I survived.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know some stuff about video editing, the brain/mind, skating, and a few other tricks ;) I'm not a great cook, but cooking is fun! I can help you learn how to speak like an American, if you like. Slang can be fun, too!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
