About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make documentaries about Eurasia.

ABOUT ME

If you have opinions and ideas, I like to discuss. If you have humor, I like to joke. If you have something to say, I'll gladly listen. If you have something to show, I'll happily look. If you're going somewhere, I'd like to follow. If you're doing something great, I'd try to be a part of it. And if you've got a couch, I'd love to sleep.

PHILOSOPHY

Dance, and drink and sing, 'till a blind hand shall brush your wing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Initially got into the community because of big travel plans and am now still discovering it as a surfer. As soon as I get a place of my own, probably in Hong Kong, I'll be happy to return the great experiences I've been offered until now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The number of experiences I've had through CouchSurfing is starting to build-up and I'm only more convinced of the project's value.

Interests

Until recently, was an interested student of philosophy, sociology, and cinematography. I now live in Hong Kong, speak Mandarin, work as a videographer and editor, and am trying to learn (some) Cantonese.

Music, Movies, and Books

'Stalker', by Tarkovsky.
'Das Mann Ohne Eigenschaften' (The Man Without Qualities), by Robert Musil.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My early trip to Romania and Moldova, where I realized a lot.

My first time in Beijing, after a week of Trans-siberian train from Moscow.

The first time I laid eyes on Hong Kong's skyline, getting off the midnight train.

My successful plan to join China to Europe without crossing a single border by plane.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach French and Chinese. I can share my knowledge in philosophy (European and Chinese) or photography/videography. I'm widely curious and always happy to engage in a good discussion.

Countries I’ve Visited
