About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore. Travel. Live.

ABOUT ME

I'm currently traveling on the west coast! Follow my travel blog @ http://travelpod.com/members/paul2302.

I like being around people that inspire me. I keep surprising myself with things I've done and I'm very nostalgic about the experiences I have. I enjoy the littlest things and I can see the beauty in most of everything.

I don't want my life to pass by without seeing the world. When I travel, I try to imagine what life would have been like if I grew up there. I try not to plan too much because plans can often get in the way of what I might really enjoy.

I'm always creating a new direction in life pursuing all of my goals. I'm also always adapting to a new life which is difficult when everything is always changing. I find my motivation in the people around me and therefore truly appreciate the value of good company. Making other people happy is what makes me happy.

I am very laid back and easy going. I know how to let loose and party and really enjoy dancing. I think dance parties are always a great idea for every circumstance. I truly like to learn and experience culture different from my own. I also will always continue to pursue knowledge in some way, school is cool.

I'm tolerant, open-minded and appreciative. I think what makes people different is important and is beautiful. I'm curious to explore things that I don't understand.

PHILOSOPHY

My ambitions are genuinely heartfelt and usually inspired by connecting me with people in some way. My adventures are sometimes epic and they're unhindered by the frequent lack of planning. I don't always have a reason or motivation for what I do, but that's not always important either. Sometimes I just have an idea and I try for it. Or I don't.

Work hard, play harder. I believe that if you do more, you'll be more. I want to be more than just my job. As busy as I get, I try to squeeze every bit out of everyday. I ALWAYS make time for the things I care about. My friends are family and they know me better than anyone in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just joined and I'm excited by the idea. So many people have great stories and I'm ready to jump in. Right now I'm working on my profile and trying to plan for backpacking on the west coast in March while preparing for my medical boards at the same time. Check out my travel blog! I'm trying to update it everyday with pictures and entries (http://travelpod.com/members/paul2302). Trying to squeeze in a few concerts too and maybe sleep somewhere there in between.

Interests

If I could be constantly surrounded by people, I'd be living my dream. I'm fascinated by how people think and how they became who they are now. I could people-watch all day long. Snowboarding is awesome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being on top of New York City on a chilly night in November; The lights of the city, the buildings all around me, the long drive there, the energy still in the air, the beautiful girl in my arms, the calm despite the wind, feeling so alive.
