ABOUT ME

I first heard about couchsurfing.org from a good friend of mine, but I never gave it much thought until I came to Saigon to visit him. After a few days of staying with him, and getting to know the half dozen or so people that also stayed with him through couchsurfing, I was hooked! And I did not even have a account yet! So, her I go, creating an account.

I guess this is supposed to be about me.

I am a Electrician by trade. I work shift work in Northern Saskatchewan. So I might be avaliable or not. Sorry it's a crap shoot for you.
But when I am not working I know how to relax and enjoy myself (Party). I will definitely have a couch for people to stay on. And by "couch" I mean spare room with a bed, along with two couches in the living room.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in Science, but I also believe that there is a hell of a lot out there that Science is not even close to explaining.

So far all I have done is go to a few CS gatherings in Saigon. But I hope to become a lot more involved in the future!

Centres d'intérêt

At the moment, traveling, seeing new sights and most of all getting a taste of the local culture. The standard tourist experience has gotten very old very quick. I am much more interested in meeting people, not so much interested in just taking pictures of the standard tourist traps that I can get a much better view of watching National Geographic on my big screen at home.
