My name is Paula and I am taking a gap year since I finished my bachelor's degree in nature conservation this year. In my spare time I love beeing in the outdoors and see more of our beautiful planet through couchsurfing. I am always up for a nice chat, taking a walk or dancing to techno or punk music:)

To meet other people from all over the world with different backgrounds and ways of living. To get a better insight of the country and learn locals to know and share interesting stories and skills. What I have with lots of other travelers in common, money is nothing that exists in abundance...so also a reason for chouchsurfing and offering my room to others who are struggling with the same:)

multiple day hiking trips and hitchhiking through New Zealand, Norway and Ireland
Having a swim in glacier lakes in Norway was always fun and since then I like cold water a lot, it´s so refreshing:)

Always keen in learning more about different ways of living and how to protect our beautiful nature. Especially to learn more about perma culture, eco villages, zero waste lifestyle, minimalism, feminism and improve my yoga, feldenkrais and climbing skills. I would love to share my knowledge about nature conservation, especially botany, ecology and how to use different wild plants.
