About Me
*CURRENTLY TRAVELLING FOR 1 YEAR IN ASIA 🌏
Hello! I am using Couchsurfing!"
I was born and I grew up in Santa Marta de Tormes (Spain), a small town near a big city called Salamanca. Santa Marta is and will be always my favorite place in the world :-)
I love to travel and live adventures abroad. I like to know different places around the world with their cultures and their people. I have lived, studied, worked and volunteered in different countries such as Spain, Germany, Romania, Ghana and China! And luckily, I have already been able to travel a large part of the world.
I have a cheerful character by nature. I like to live with a smile :-).
I also like simple things, and I consider myself a bit of a minimalist.
I really like people. I love discovering new people, new personalities and new ways of thinking and living!
GIVE AND TAKE :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There are many reasons why I am in couchsurfing!
Of course, when I started traveling and using couchsuring, from my student status, saving money was one of the key points :'-). But now the reasons are very different!
Every time I have used couchsurfing the experiences were amazing! I really like to experience the culture of the country where I travel, starting with its people. And that is something that couchsurfing is wonderful for!
To sleep in a real house is so so so much special than to sleep in a hotel. Through couchsurfing you can see beyond the surface reality that the most of the times the cities show you.
Until now I have always traveled with friends, but now I am starting to travel alone (all my friends already work, scheduling vacations is not that easy... and all these complications of adult life). That's currently another main reason why I use Couchsurfing... in this way, even traveling alone, I can share part of my trip with other people :-)
Interests
Aside from travel...
I love sports, especially basketball. Probably basketball is what I like most in the world :-)
I play basketball since I was 7 years old, and still now! I am also Basketball Coach and enjoy everyweek the crazy U12 Basketball team that I train :-)
My other main hobby is Music. I play some instruments such as Harmonica, Accordion or Ukulele.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my erasmus year in Craiova, I went: from Italy to Romania and from Greece to Romania by hitch-hiking in 8 days! With my great friends: Karla Tejedor, Uxue Cercós and Maria Eva
What I Can Share with Hosts
When I "invade" a Couchsurfing apartment I always try to respect the space of the host!
I never do/use anything without first asking... That´s for me very important! The host is the one who must establish where the border of his privacy is! And it is for me very clear, that it is better to fall short than to go over the line! :-)
Starting from that point:
When the host feels like it, I am always delighted to cook Spanish Tapas and share a pleasant afternoon speaking and learning!
If the host wants, I am also always happy to go out together to have a walk around the city or to know some special pleaces.
I really like to sew and do small crafts. Sometimes, while waiting in an airport or traveling by train, I use the time doing some crafts that I later give to my kind hosts! :-)
