Hello! I'm Paula, a former fine-arts student, currently living in the wonderfully beautiful city of Brașov, Transylvania with my husband, Will.
I studied art conservation and restoration at the University of Fine Arts and Design from Cluj-Napoca.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd like to meet new people and learn about other cultures.
Also, if I travel somewhere new, it is always nice to have a place to stay, where someone can show you around or help you in case of need.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked 5 km at the age of 3, from my grandparents' village to my parent's home, in a neighbouring town, accompanied by one of my grandfather's dogs.
It tuned out that I missed them.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would teach people Romanian (it is a funny thing to hear you, with a foreign accent, trying to speak my first language), share with them myths and legends of my home, talk about history, folklore and whatever they'd like to know.
In return, I'd expect them to share their own experiences, opinions about the places they've seen and the people they've met.
