About Me

Hello there 🌌

My name is Paula, I’m a Romanian- Canadian Artist, Creative Photographer, Videographer & introspective, curious soul on an adventure through Italy.

I grew up in Toronto (22 years of life) and spent a lot of time travelling & wandering ( 16 months backpacking 2018 - 2019: so many stories and beautiful moments of being alive).

I adore the small pleasures of life and being present with the moment that’s in front of me. Long- winded soulful conversations with depth and passion for what it means to be human and what this world has to offer are my favourite.

I’m a poet at heart and although my medium for storytelling and work has been visual, I enjoy carrying a pen, notebook and some oil pastels on me to reflect and draw.

My trip through Italy is spontaneous and unplanned, and so I am seeking some Couchsurfing opportunities in May & June 2024. My desire is to be in awe, marvel, make some friends, smile, laugh, and fall deeper in love with myself and this life. And of course, I want to experience Italy from the eyes of a local!

There is a lot of bad news out in this world, but continuing to fall in love with the moon, flowers and soul will give me the strength to show up in this world in a way that is true and strong. I care deeply.

Would love to be hosted & connect with kindred spirits.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I listen to my intuition and I have tended to my inner artist.

From my 2018 - 2019 trips:

I stayed with an Albanian family in their remote cottage and hiked through the accursed mountains, stopping to eat lunch at the peak with a fantastic group of people I met in Kotor, Montenegro.

I hitchhiked in Albania and North Macedonia a ton to get to places. One of the drivers owned a restaurant in Mavrovo Macedonia and my friend and I had a great lunch there!

Hiked the highest mountain peak in Montenegro (honestly so proud of myself).
