I'm Paula and I want to do work and travel in Canada, starting in November, so I'd love to have the opportunity to meet fellow travellers or locals :)
I finished high school in Germany this year and I'm now saving up money for the trip. I would consider myself an open-minded and friendly person, who's pretty shy at the beginning, but I can be very open when I get to know you better! My friends say that it's rarely getting boring with me, not only because I'm adventurous, but also because I'm down for hanging around and doing nothing.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music changes A LOT, but right now I really enjoy hip-hop, but I'm never saying no to techno :) You could say I'm the typical "I listen to everything"-person with some seasonal preferences.

I love a good thriller/drama movie/ series (for example prison break, breaking bad, lucifer, the boys, the night agent,...), but there's nothing wrong with romance and comedy for keeping it light!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been an exchange student in the US in 2022 for three months. I got to spend those months with a really cool host family in Idaho and met some friends, I still stay in touch with. Of course, it wasn't thoroughly perfect, but I can only cherish the experiences I've made there and even though my stay wasn't too long, I came back to Germany as a changed person.
My goal for my trip in Canada is to continue this change into a better person :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been playing the piano for 10 years now and I love teaching the basics to beginners! I also tutored a fifth grader in the subjects of Maths, English and German, so I bring some experience from there.
I've been getting better with animals, since most of my friends are cat or dog owners and I find myself being more comfortable, since I've never had a pet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to show you some traditional German food or teach you some German or Italian (only the basics). But most of all, I always like exchanging cultures in forms of stories, food or also music!
