About Me

I grew up in the awesome mountain town of Revelstoke and I am back here after Uni, enjoying all it has to offer. I still travel around every once in a while, but for the foreseeable future, I will continue to have my roots here. I am currently working as a Wildfire Fighter for the B.C. government which has given me many amazing experiences, friends, and skills. Oh... and I loooove sloths.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I host:
I enjoy meeting new people, learning about their background, and showing them a little bit of my beautiful mountain town.
When I am a guest:
I am looking for a way to travel around while saving some costs, meeting new people, and hopefully gaining local knowledge and experiences that would have otherwise not been possible. I find that the best way to get a true feel for a place is by meeting someone from that area, and so far, I have had some great experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

These are always changing as I find it difficult to choose only a few favourites, but currently....

Music varies by mood: Blink 182, Luke Bryan, Alt-J, Sylan Esso, Rihanna, July Talk, and other fun, upbeat music.
Movies: Three Billboards, Lords of Dogtown, The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Books: The Rosie Project, The Drifters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in Thailand for a year with a Thai family, explored the country, and learned to speak thai. I have lost most of it unfortunately, but I look forward to being able to practice it with anyone!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A couple of entertaining stories, a love of food, some sweet dance moves, and the opportunity to witness my poor board game strategy skills
