Overview
About Me
We are a young couple that recently moved out from an international dorm, and are missing the social interaction with different cultures we used to have.
I, Paula, am a software engineer from Barcelona, and I moved to Denmark a year ago. I always loved traveling and I also lived in northern Sweden for seven months before. I'm really extroverted and I love meeting new people. Finally, when I travel I like to learn and visit all I can about the place I'm staying.
Tore, my boyfriend, was born in a small town in Fyn, the middle island in Denmark. He is a mathematics student and loves statistics. He says that he is a little introverted, but he is supper nice and always tries to make conversation with everyone willing to. He hasn't travelled as much as me, but he loves to meet new cultures and get to learn more about them.
We are looking forward to host you! (and get hosted if this is the case)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because, as much as I love traveling, it's getting a point we're my budget is limited, and I would love to meet new people while traveling.
At the same time, and as I already said, we miss the social component of our dorm and getting to know people from everywere.
Interests
I'm really passionate on all my interests so I'll love to talk about them at any time, or learn more stuff.,,
- i love to read and write
- also, i'm really into traveling (obviously)
- and i'm really passionate about history.
- i'm currently taking lessons on dancehall
- and twerk.
- finally, i love gymnastics
- i practiced for a few years and now
- i follow its competitons
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a little weird on my music taste. I can go from reggeton to Taylor swift, but I als love some ska-rock grups from Spain. I terms of books I mostly read young adult and cheesy romantic books. Finally, on movies, I would watch anything that's not too dramatic or an action movie.
Tore:
When it comes to music, i have a very broad taste. It is a lot easier to talk about books. My all time favorite is "Essays in love" but i generally read nonfiction. I really like philosophy and statistics. When it comes to movies, my favourite is one is "La la land". I am way cooler than i sound.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I had my wildest adventure, traveling Europe for a month, not knowing the next destination. Also, I lived in northern Sweden for six months, and I even saw the northern lights!
Tore:
I was part of an academic talent program in highschool. That was a place where i found a lot of amazing people and created a lot of memories.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love history, so I will love to learn as much as I can, and also share what I know. Also, I would like to know any kind of new dance style. And I knit! I have a lot of knitting utensils at home, and I can teach it!
Tore:
I really like statistical fallacies. However outside this niche area, i really like to learn about the different ways cultures view aspect of life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can prepare the greatest "tortilla de patatas" you'll ever try.
Tore:
