I'm an adult education student from Jyväskylä, Finland. I have traveled with couchsurfing in many amazing places and met wonderful people, thus I'm looking forward to meeting even new couchsurfers and expanding my horizons further.

My friend Linda and I are avid travelers and now traveling to the US for almost a month. We fly to New York City and return back to Finland from San Fransisco. This means that we have a long way to cross the continent. I hope to dig into an american way of life (whatever it means to one) and learn new things during this trip. This is my second time in the States and a first time for my friend Linda!

As people we are open-minded, positive, energetic, empathetic and outgoing. If you decide to host us, I promise you will not regret. We are a dynamic duo with lots of laughter, stories to share and adventurous minds.

I'm excited to meet new people from all over the world! I really don't care about luxurious hotels, I care about real people with homes that look like them.

I love sports: running, tennis, badminton, dancing, skiing.. I'm of course up for trying new sports as well. All sorts of cultural events and exhibitions. Sitting around in cafes, bars, restaurants and partying. Exploring new places, spontaneous trips, hiking, nature, backpacking. Not doing things necessarily the easy way. All in all my interests basically are other people. Volunteering.

I'm a good listener. On the other hand I also talk quite a lot.. So I guess conversations of many kinds is what I'm able to offer. And company to join in almost any kind of occasion. And a positive mood is something that's for sure contagious :D And why not a bottle of wine!
