I'm Paula, 21 and I'm currently studying Psychology in Bonn, Germany. I love meeting new people and seeing new places, also learning something new about other cultures, so I am not worried about not speaking the language of people I meet. I have done couchsurfing in France the first time, where I spent one year after school for a social gap year, working at l'Arche in Toulouse. Originally I am from a little town in NRW in Germany near Düsseldorf and since I have moved away I can't wait to discover new places.

For me, Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet people that live in the place that I visit and who I can get to know to even if it is only for a short time. I am easy going and can adapt to the way that you want your couchsurfing visit to be. However, I think that Couchsurfing is a greater adventure than just staying at a hostel.
