Hi! My name is Paula and I am a new in couchsurfing who is willing to throw herself in new adventures of life and learn something new about other cultures alongside. I come from Latvia (many people know it by it's capital city - Riga), small country located in Northern Europe. Kind of small country, but it has very green nature with lots of woods and lakes and rivers - very green I would say.

My educational and professional background mostly covers legal field (I have a bachelors degree in Law). Almost a half year ago I quit my job in legal field and, as I always had a passion for new technologies and tech/marketing world, I gained very useful skills and knowledge in Digital Marketing field by attending courses and working in this field (wanted to try something new and do something that I have a passion for).

- I am would say I am a "people person", very communicative, kind and positive, I do my work with greater responsibility (legal field taught me this very well), I am respectful, jet easy going, flexible, friendly, very loyal and joyful. Kind of free spirit person I would say.

- I love traveling (I enjoy being outside and by the nature), being creative, learning new skills (I'm a fast learner), about other cultures, experience and meeting new people.

- I love dancing (danced for 15 years, can teach some cool dance moves), running by the sea, doing yoga (would like to be a yoga instructor some time soon), meditating (just relaxes me), hiking and snowboarding (during winter time in Latvia).

- I really enjoy cooking! Would be happy to learn some new and maybe exotic cooking skills from you as well and teach you something that i can cook.

- I'm in love with blue water, green woods, big mountains and beautiful sunsets (just could stare at those things all day long).

- I love animals - especially cats and dogs.

- I have a little sister, who I really adore and love.

- Not afraid of challenges - to learn something new (like surfing, riding horses, etc.).

- Not afraid of some cleaning, receptionist, customer service jobs, tourist guidance / expeditions - have experience in these fields as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So what did lead me to decision to be a part of this community? Well, after being a lawyer, I realized, that life is something more that just a paper-work, so currently I am searching my place in this spectacular world which is full of interesting and fascinating things to do. I really want to meet new people, help them as I can, learn from them and share my experiences and knowledge with them, and overall - enjoy everything that life offers me during this journey!
