Overview
About Me
Moin, my name is Paula and I’m from Germany. I’m 23 years old and love to explore the world. I’m studying in Hamburg and hopefully I’ll get my master degrees in teaching next summer :)
I’m playing icehockey in the wintertime. Too bad you don’t get paid to play professional hockey, so I decided to play in a lower league and I’m trying to coach u11 boys team!
I love to meet different people and love to share all the inspiring experiences. Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people and cultures. I’m trying different ways of traveling. This Summer I biked from Vienna to the Black Sea, it was a great way to see a lot of countries and I enjoyed my time!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the more people come together the more we can archive and share :)
Sharing become more and more important in a world where everyone is focusing on themselves. I think we should focus more on the society then on ourselves!
Interests
I play ice hockey, long time on a professional level, I want to slow down a bit and focus on other things in life. See more then hockey rinks, but still it’s one of my biggest interests. I lived almost one year in Sweden to play professional hockey.
I’m interested in other people’s opinions and like to discuss and philosophical deep talk. I like all the ideas of different lifestyle different people are living, and all the memories they made through traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share
Leben ist lernen und lernen ist Leben
- that means something like: Life is learning and learning is living
Love conquers all
- I’m absolutely convinced, that the world would be a better place, if we would respect all the living creatures and share more love for each other
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my apartment, my company and if I’m not to busy I can show you around my beautiful hometown Hamburg and cook a typical meal from Hamburg (if you eat meat or fish, because almost all traditional food is with meat or fish). But for vegetarians or vegans I know some nice places or nice recipes.
