About Me

Hello everyone, Paula here :) I've just finished my studies and the ants in my pants are driving me out into the beautiful world again. Having already travelled to far-flung places, I'm now looking forward to getting to know Europe a little better. I will be going first north and then south by train. I'm very excited about the adventures, big and small, that await me and can't wait to experience all the lovely people, interesting cultures and impressive natural spectacles.

Would you like to show me your favourite places?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of showing each other your favourite places and getting to know foreign countries in a very personal way. I find the mutual support between travellers just as valuable.

Interests

I'm here, so yes: I love travelling! I meet new people, get to know other cultures and see beautiful places.
At home, I enjoy spending time with my friends, whether we're just chatting over a coffee, going to events like flea markets, concerts or exhibitions or spending a cosy evening together with delicious food and board games. I also play hockey, and I particularly enjoy the team spirit. My core interests are art and culture (I also studied art history) and nature. I love being outdoors, always between exploring and pure enjoyment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During a day hike through the Nepalese jungle, I was able to observe a rhino from incredibly close. The huge animal splashed playfully in the water. Since then, rhinos have been at the top of my list of favourite animals. And for me, they are the true unicorns.
