Overview
About Me
I'm a spanish girl back in Madrid after some time living abroad, always happy to meet new people.
I'm openminded, expresive and really optimistic. I love humans and ideas, and I can be curious about almost anything. I also like absurd humor and deep conversations over a beer.
I studied Pedagogy and Emotional Education. Currently work in HR, specifically in the department that focuses on the physical and mental wellbeing of the employees. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with it: I love the topics it covers, but hate the corporate world and the productivity culture around it.
I'm also an art enthusiast, and I'm very much into theater and writing.
My dream for the future is to quit my corporate job and focus on doing education projects using theater and art as a tool for learning.
But for now I'm just enjoying being where I am now!
Excited to hear about you and your current journey :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I don't have my own place and I can't host, but I'm always open to hang out and meet new people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far is been great! There's so many great people that I wouldn't have met otherwise! I love it, and I love the community it has created.
Interests
I love reading, cooking, writing, theater (both watching and performing!), deep talks, partying, connecting with new people, long walks, cozy coffee places and learning new things.
Dancing is one thing that makes me instantly happy. I can dance some swing and salsa, and really enjoy it. But also absolutely love to go to a club with friends and doing some really silly freestyle dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: Adaptation, Her, American Beauty, Lost in Translation, Lars and The Real Girl, Fargo, the Big Short, Lord of the Rings (used to be a huge nerd as a kid!), The Green Planet...
Books: "I love Dick", "100 years of Solitude", "A confederacy of dunces", "The elegance of the hedgehog", "Extremely close and incredibly loud", "Happiness" from Mathieu Richard, "Non-violent Communication, a language of life" from Marshall Rosenberg. I also love anything from Amelie Nothomb. Lately I'm mostly reading contemporary Spanish female authors. I also like Sally Rooney.
Music: Almost all kinds. Some artists: Devendra Banhart, alt-j, Xavier Rudd, Lou Reed, El Kanka, Lasha de Shela, Edward Sharpe, el Kanka, C-Tangana, Rosalía.
In summary I'd say I absolutely love any kind of art that portraits very well some part of human experience, and manages to make it vulnerable, beautiful and hilarious at the same time.
