Overview
About Me
Work and love as the starting point and mission in life. Currently settled in the north of Finland over the winter accompanied with darkness, beauty and silence. Kind of an antithesis for modern life pulse.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Gotta love the idea with couchsurfing: knock the door, and you never know what all is there to be mutually sensed and discovered. So, please!
Interests
Absolute first comes nature – there are not many things with more satisfaction than a hike in the wilderness, reaching a beautiful log hut at the end of the day, cooking meal on a stove, lighting the candles and feeling pure joy. I am very much a person of slow pace transition, trails and rails are for me.
Good things follow (not priority order): roaming around, swimming, cooking – and eating indeed, radio podcasts, -25C frost, dancing(!!), observing life on the streets, cross country skiing, dialogue and debate, sauna and a beer, serving others, sailing.

Music, Movies, and Books
Sounds and melodies awakening emotions from joy to melancholy, calm to hyper. Bach, Pärt, Sigur Ros, Skott.
Movie: favoring documentaries, though very much into quality drama, old and new. Midnight sun film festival has become a yearly tradition – haven´t experienced such interactive cinema anywhere else!
Literature: love immersing myself in a story! Endless to read-list, always going through two to three books at the same time, One on the nightstand, one to be carried along, one forgotten unfinished. For the moment the authors are Kaur, Harari and Murakami.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Amazing or just stupidity, you decide – went for a 4-days hike all alone equipped only with a screenshot of 45km trail, no map, no compass, blind trust on my navigating skills. Got lost only once – or forever?
Countries I’ve Lived In
Finland, Iceland, India, Thailand
