About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to find out what my current mission is.
ABOUT ME
I'm not fond of describing myself. But as a couch surfer I'm easy going, flexible and don't have a lot of expectations. I'd say it's very easy to host me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host and am hosted. I do not participate in other activities so much, mostly for lack of time.
Provided I'm home at the moment, I'm always willing to help out other CS members. But now that I'm sharing an apartment with three other people I think it's better not to host CSers more than once a month.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I have benefited from couch surfing three times. I was pleasantly surprised :). 28.02.1020 I have finally hosted my first CS, Mike from Sweden! 06.2010 And another girl from Germany.
Interests
I like to keep up with the world around me and so I spend a great deal of my time tracking the news. Generally I am interested in movies, books (biographies), politics, etc. I watch a lot of stand up comedy (my favourites are George Carlin, Chris Rock, Bill Maher, Robbin Williams, etc.). I also have a thing for good TV series (South Park, The West Wing, The Daily Show, Breaking Bad, Real Time with Bill Maher, etc.).

Music, Movies, and Books
I watch and listen to all kinds of things, including the occasional chick flick and country song. Here are a few examples:
Movies: Sideways, Look Both Ways, Oyster Farmer, Crazy Heart (also documentaries - a lot)
Music: soundtracks (almost any)
Books: haven't had time to read fiction lately, but maybe Papillon?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess living in Indonesia for 5 months qualifies. One of the 'amazing' things I saw while living there was a muslim tradition (ritual?) that takes place after ramadhan (I think). It consists of slaugthering live animals as an offer to god (Alah). (I don't remember the name). It was taking place all over the country apparently, and for an entire morning cows and sheep were being killed right in front of my house in a school's playground. They were killed manually (no electric shock, just good old throat-slicing with blood and guts all over the place), so I was able to see literally everything. Quite an impressive sight.
I once had a rat run over my foot. A cockroach too.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hum... not sure. I can teach my own language if you're interested.
