About Me
Hi people! I'm Paula and I'm currently living in Edinburgh with my partner where I am studying a master in occupational therapy and working. I love travelling and getting to know different cultures and places. I also love meeting new people and hearing their stories, because I believe the world is full of great experiences from which I can get great knowledge and ideas !
I love sunny weather, the sea, the mountain, and of course going out with my friends and having some beers while laughing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet new people and help them knowing the cityl! I'm available to show the city , the best places of Edinburgh and having a great time around . I think the best way to get to know a place is when a "local" shows the authentic way of living in it.
Interests
I love music, playing the guitar and singing. Also going out with my friends, travelling , visiting new places, meeting new people. I like reading, watching films, dancing, and going for a walk enjoying the landscape. I love swimming in the beach, sunbathing and having a fresh beer sitting on the sand.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like every tipe of music, jazz, blues, indie, rock, reggae, classical...And I listen it depending on my mood. The same happens with films, I don't have a favourite one, but I really like "Some like it hot", "Stardust", "The Others" or Cartoon ones as "Despicable me" haha. My favourite book is "The book's thieve" but I also love Enid Blyton ones from my childhood and Agatha Christie's.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've gone to Ikea and resisted the temptation of buying everything.
I've almost been bitten by a moray in Brasil while I was snorkelling.
I've swimmed with giant turtles at the Riviera Maya.
I've seen "The American" by George Clooney and stayed awake the whole movie.
I played the double bass for 5 years and stopped playing it to play basketball for another 5 years.
I study Occupational Therapy because I love helping people and I trully believe that I've found what I want to do for the rest of my life because I would do it for free.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Spanish , play the guitar and sing with you, prepare some typical Spanish dishes ... and I would also love to improve my French as well as my English.
