Soy Paula. Nunca fui buena en las presentaciones: creo que soy mejor oyente que oradora.
Me gusta pensar que la cámara es mi herramienta para introducirme en el mundo: gracias al cine pude conocer muchos países y culturas antes de haber estado ahí, y en la fotografía encuentro algo similar.
Me gusta conversar (si se acompaña con vino mejor!), bailar, conocer las calles y esquinas perdidas de las ciudades, me gusta el mar pero también las montañas. Soy vegetariana desde hace un tiempo y estoy muy orgullosa de ello!
Que difícil querer decir tanto en pocas palabras!

Im Paula. I've never been good at presentations: I'm better listener than speaker.
I like to say that the camera is my tool to immerse myself into the world: thanks to movies I’ve been able to know many countries and cultures before I was there, and something similar happens with photography.
I enjoy talking (better if it's accompanied with wine!), dancing, knowing the hidden streets and corners of cities; I like the sea but also the mountains. I became vegetarian some time ago and I’m so proud of it! How hard to say so much in a few words!

Después de un largo período de haber creado esta cuenta y mantenerla -casi- inactiva, me di cuenta que la experiencia más valiosa que me puedo llevar de un país sucede cuando salto la barrera del hostel, del circuito turístico, y me sumerjo en el mundo local.

While living in Mexico I realized that the most valuable experience I can take from a new country, happens when I shift the "barrier" of the hostel, of the tourist circuit, and immerse myself into the world as someone local.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Swimming with a whale shark🦈🐋I never imagined that being next to an animal almost 15 Mts long was so shocking. However, the most exciting adventure I did was encourage myself to go on a travel, put aside the excuses and go!

Nadar con un tiburón ballena🦈🐋 Nunca pensé que sumergirme junto a un animal de casi 15mts de largo fuera tan impactante. Sin embargo, la aventura más emocionante que hice fue animarme a salir de viaje, dejar de lado las excusas, los peros, y salir!

Since I started college till shortly before leaving on my trip, my activities (paid or not) were related with teaching. During the course of the career I volunteered to child recreation programs in humble neighborhoods, near the end I started giving courses and photography workshops to seniors. We all have something to teach and something to learn. If anything in my "knowledge baggage" may interest you, I will share it with you!

Desde que comencé la universidad hasta poco antes de salir de viaje, mis actividades (remuneradas o no) siempre estuvieron relacionadas con la enseñanza. Durante el cursado asistí como voluntaria a programas de recreación infantil en barrios de bajos recursos, ya sobre el final de la carrera comencé a dar cursos y talleres de fotografía a adultos mayores. Tod@s tenemos algo para enseñar y algo por aprender. Si algo de lo que está en mi valija de conocimientos te interesa, sin duda voy a compartirlo!
