About Me

CURRENT MISSION

conquering any twenty-four territories and eliminating all the blue troops

ABOUT ME

I'm usually shy at first, but after given a little time to get acquainted with the people and the situation, I forget about that and worry only about having fun - sometimes it only happens after a few beers, but what can I do?
I love to make people laugh, although sometimes I just can't get my jokes and stories to work out in a foreign language. Maybe I should practice it more. :)
Like most brazilians, I'm crazy about soccer and I try to attend to the stadium whenever the team I support is playing. Besides that, I love to gather my friends and go out. I'm a big fan of bars, clubs and parties in general.
Travelling is something I'm always very inclined to do, it doesn't matter if it's a transoceanic trip or just spending the day at a nearby beach. I'm always in the mood for hitting the road or getting into a plane.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, my couchsurfing experience didn't happen through the website, but I think it's worth sharing it...
A few years ago I met an argentinian guy at the internet and we wrote to each other for about one or two months. At the beginning of this year I was going to Buenos Aires with a couple of friends, so I wrote to him asking for help choosing a hostel and selecting places to go. He ended up being our host while we were there, showing us around and taking us to places usually unkown for tourists. He introduced us to his friends and we even went to a party at one of his friends' place. It was great cause I feel we really experienced the city instead of just going where everybody goes and doing what all tourists do. I felt like a native and, for me, that's what travelling should be all about. No crowds taking pictures of the same thing, no tourist traps.
