ABOUT ME

I live in the mountains about 75 miles north of Los Angeles. I have two adult children. I live on a small farm with many, many animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, parrots, desert tortoises and a host of locals. I teach junior high kids. Hobbies are hiking, pottery, reading, cooking, gardening, photography, and of course, traveling.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My house is currently not conducive to overnight stays, but I am willing to meet up for coffee and seeing sights in these mountains, or Los Angeles area. I will be traveling as often as possible and hope to other CS members will lend me their couches and/or meet me for coffee and a look around their home towns.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Best travel experiences have been as far away from hotels as possible. Meeting with locals is what I've enjoyed most. I'm a novice to international travel and have met the nicest, most generous people, who have enhanced my life. Looking forward to meeting many, many more great people.

Intereses

Interested in hiking and exploring areas outside of major cities, but I want to see the big cities too. Love folk music and history, arts and craft.
