I'm a professional in my mid-thirties that recently decided to leave a position that I love so I could go out and see more of the world. I'm a nurse and have spent many years working as a travel nurse. I have lived many places in the United States. The last 5 years I have lived in California and absolutely love it, but my list of places to visit grows longer and longer everyday.

I am new to couch surfing and excited to try it. I love meeting new people from different cultures. I'm a pretty laid-back individual that likes to just go with the flow. I am honest,trustworthy, and respectful. I am opened to new experiences. I have traveled solo many times and capable of entertaining myself. I don't require anyone to babysit me or show me around, but if my host is opened to giving me tips or showing me local places I would love that or just to spend some time chatting.

I love traveling and meeting locals while I travel. It's fun to do touristy stuff, but not always the best way to really experience a different culture. I'm currently traveling around Asia and love meeting up with people that can show me things that are a little off the beaten path. Currently I am unable to host while I'm traveling, but I'm excited to return the favor when I'm back in the States.

My favorite trip I have ever taken was to Brazil. I spent a month working in Brazil as a nurse. We assisted with home healthcare and visited small villages that have very limited access to healthcare.
