About Me

I was born in the US, my mother is French, my father is German and my grandfather Pole.. I am an open-minded person. I love to meet new people and to discuss about different points of view, new ideas, other countries... Right now I'm doing my Erasmus semester in Riga.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To connect with other people and to get to know places through the people who are living there! I want to continue to have trust in others and don't live my life just on my own.. that's why I like to share with others and practice how to respect different opinions and also learn through it.
I also really like to do workaway. Last year I spent a month on a farm and winery near to San Francisco. But often I don't have that much time to spent in one place, so when I'm in a city just for a few days, couchsurfing is perfect for me.

Unfortunately, I don't live in a place where I could also host couchsurfers. As soon as I will have a big enough appartment and flatmates that agree on hosting couchsurfers, I will!!

Interests

I love travelling! Whether it is to visit my friends and familiy in many different parts of Germany and France, or to visit other countries in the world. When I travel I also like to write about it. Besides that I like nature, doing sports, music, cinema, theater, poetry slams and just go out with friends. At present I'm dancing ballett but I also did karate for four years. I like to cook and to bake, to do things with my hands.. work in the garden or to do handicrafts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one year in India in West Bengal, doing a volunteer service. It was the first time I lived somewhere else than with my family and the first time I went that far and for such a long time. I truly believe that this changed me a lot but not because of some Ashram/Yoga/Spiritual-experience ;) The country was so different from anything I had seen before that I had to reconsider many things I believed in before...

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a lot of stories about different countries.. and I can do that in at least three different languages :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, England, Estonia, Ireland, Lithuania, Nepal, Poland, Romania

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Germany, India, Latvia, United States
