ABOUT ME

After many years working for a big company, I began exploring the world as an English teacher. I love teaching. And I love building bridges between people from different cultures. I've been part of exchange programs in the past, too, like YFU and Global Friendship.

I love traveling. I enjoy trying new foods, and will eat almost anything. I like to read, and I sometimes send my books off on their own journeys with Bookcrossing numbers.

Some favorite cities so far: Montreal, Venice, San Francisco, New York, Singapore

Most of us have more in common than we have differences. The world is full of beauty and joy. Let's help each other focus on that, and have fun together!

I've met a few Couchsurfers for coffee, meals, and conversations. I've enjoyed a few stays with couchsurfing hosts and hosted a few when I could.

I'm not musically gifted but I enjoy listening or dancing to lots of types of music, especially: celtic, bluegrass, folk, jazz, new age, rock, latin, dangdut, ...

I enjoy reading almost anything including classics, romances, science fiction/fantasy, travel, humor, inspirational, poetry, ...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Having a child still tops anything else but in the travel area, I think that white water rafting on the Cache la Poudre River in Colorado might be the most fun I've had.

I could help people practice English. I'm a pretty good cook and could teach a few dishes or treat you to something. I'm not sure what else - try me?

I'd love to practice my very low level bahasa indonesia or español, learn new dance steps or games, or ... ?
