About Me

we are two academic entrepreneurs. We will be on a sabbatical cycling though Europe in the summer of 2020 (but can be reached for major issues). We always had quests staying with us coming from all over the world as PhD students to work in Paul's lab. We both love to cook and share good wine with those who appreciate local product and regional identity. We are not driven by fake or ad hoc news but both follow trends via alternative sources, podcasts, and multiple other sources. Although we are professionaly active on internet, we try to avoid the active private use of social media since it gives us time to think, handle, enjoy, walk . Oh , and we dance Argentinian Tango, and this brings us always to new places and meeting new people on the dance floor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

life without people is empty, and people make the difference on all levels in the world. We are both very social and involved in our local community. My husband is an international traveller due to his business and consultancy, while I coach organisations and people in transition processes. I have found that asking simple, straightforward questions can open up a long line of stories. We both look forward to a new life-style in which we want to spent more time together travelling, and have experienced that the usually offer of hotels, B&B's, gites etc is nice but starts to get boring quite soon. The real visit is much better by sharing with locals and we also offer this to our quests.

Teach, Learn, Share

Travelling is not a goal in itself. More then going to see new places, we love to be on a trip and indulge in the route itself. Using all kinds of local transport we have had our best memories of caring and inspiring people from Blabla cars to lifts on the way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can share our life, working and travel experiences and joy for life and good living with hosts. Both me and my husband are entrepreneurs and deal with daily challenges in our different environments form small business to large corporates. We also love preparing food and matching wine, and eager to share our food experiences and
learn about local products and regional identity form you.
