About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find a reggae concert in every city I visit

ABOUT ME

Rather than love, than money, than faith, than fame, than fairness... give me truth. This is a quote I identify myself with.

I love geek conversations about everything and nothing at the same time, while enjoying a cold beer.

After working as a legal trainee at a law firm in Istanbul (although this was just an excuse to get the money to visit and live in that amazing city) I moved back to my home city, Madrid. Then I moved to Tokyo about a year, spent six months in Rome, and decided to go back to Tokyo to follow my partner. Now we're in Brussels!

Some people say I'm too independent, I just like to think I'm too active, I never wait for anyone when it comes to doing the things I enjoy: gigs, judo, theatre, cinema, yoga, hiking, mountain biking, travelling...

Not getting enough sleep makes me moody. Not getting enough food makes me silent.

Reggae music, feeling the summer breeze while riding my bicycle, and talking about Aotearoa make me smile in a different way, or so my friends say.

PHILOSOPHY

So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future.

The very basic core of a man's living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Going to CS meetings! I haven't been able to host yet! But met wonderful people here!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I opened my account a while ago but didn't use it for some time. When I came back I had the chance to meet great people!!!

Interests

I love reading just about anything - yes, even ingredients in bottles of water. I also love classic theatre, riding my mountain bike, endless hiking days and summer breeze.

I love meeting open-minded, eco-friendly, real people. Spending sunday evenings at the cinema and discuss about the film afterwards.

I love drawing and painting, still so much to learn!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music! specially when it makes me feel something new. If the strangest tune can make me shiver then I call it music.

My favourite movie is Into the wild (in case you hadn't noticed), but I also love Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, The Lord of the Flies and The Visitor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Tongariro Alpine Crossing was an amazing experience I had in New Zealand, definitely recommend it to everyone!!
The Bosphorus at night...

Teach, Learn, Share

People say I'm a great cook! I also have a somehow effective way to teach people Spanish, I love languages. I love to find out a relationship between people's logic and the language they speak.

I would love to learn how to surf and how to play the guitar
