About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live simply and climb often
ABOUT ME
Moved to Austin 2-year ago after a 14-year stint in CO/WY. I'm very easy going and laid back, calm and even-keeled, love to cook and share in fruitful labors with others, confident and quick-witted. I enjoy anything outdoors. I love a good sense of humor and have been known to make others laugh, curious and inquisitive, open to new experiences. Very low maintenance and resourceful.
PHILOSOPHY
To learn something new about the world and myself every day. To change the things I can and deem necessary and accept the things I cannot change. To find something redeemable in everything. To recognize the value of things and not the price. To meet new people and experience as much as possible. To shift my comfort zones and perspective frequently. To do something that scares me at least once a day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to couch surf and offer my couch to others. I like being able to meet people in their home cities so I can understand more about the places I'm visiting and the people that live there. I like making connections with people and discovering commonalities despite other differences. I like sharing the things about my home area that I love. I would love to give and receive positive experiences with others.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed on a few couches, hosted a a handful of travelers and met several people in their home cities or in mine. Everyone has been overwhelmingly positive.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to show you the bars, restaurants, music, and amazing outdoor activities (swimming, climbing, hiking, SUPing) that abound in Austin. Walking distance to lots of good stuff!
Also, despite its reputation as being flat and boring, there are TONS of outdoor things to do within an hour of Austin.
