ABOUT ME

I've chosen to travel because when I finish, when I can no longer lift myself unto a bus, I want to have learned enough about the world to know who I am. I believe the only way to understand oneself is to learn about others. To love, as I would be loved, and to explore the wonderful world beyond my little box.

PHILOSOPHY

Genuine communication is the heart of aesthetic (feeling and living) experience. It's also hard work. To learn to communicate with new people of different culture and world--it's hard, but good.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be able to host some months of the year, those being when I'm at school. When I'm not able to host at school, I will be traveling as far my dreams can propel me.

Interessen

Ultimately, I am a lover of good friends. To be a little more specific, I am partial to the Theatre, as an actor, director, and eventually playwright. I love a good story, and I admire storytellers.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I've stood before the abyss of the Grand Canyon and been forced to acknowledge the fragile, small, existence that was mine. I have never felt the presence of absence so forcefully anywhere else.

I walked timidly over a disused rail-bridge, felt the temporary truth of human constructions, and was set free.

I've directed a play, The Shape of Things, by Neil Labute.
