About Me
I'm Paul, 24 years old and I just finished my bachelors degree in architecture (in Münster, Germany). I would consider myself as a jack of all trades but a master of very few:D
During the lockdown i decided to leave Münster to live somewhere new since traveling (which was my original plan) didn't feel right in these pandemic times. So, fate decided for me to move to Hamburg and i couldn't be happier about it. At the moment I am living in a lovely flatshare in the heart of St.Pauli and day after day i enjoy exploring this city and meeting new people. My current mission is to find an internship in architecture that doesn't eat me up and allows me to keep my beloved side hustle as a bike messenger alive. In my free time I love to play backgammon and spend way to much time in our shared kitchen with all sorts of people, mix some music on my mixing desk (i just started djing this year so this isn't too big of a deal but i'm having plenty of fun with it anyways) and just beeing the creative soul that i am (is this too cheesy!?:D) I think for now thats it. Cheers!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This spring i broke both of my legs which was a major setback for me. The doctors told me it could take years for me to recover and i might never be able to go running or even walk pain free. Fortunately this turned out to be wrong and i'm almost completely back on track which i'm so extremely thankful for. Never the less the mixture of a pretty long depressing lockdown and me not being able to walk for several months turned my social skills into something i wasn't really used to. All the people around me still call me a very socializing soul but still, after this story you may understand my struggle a bit haha.
But now that my legs feel kinda nice and i'm double vaccinated I made the decision to finally give Couchsurfing a chance. Here I am!

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to chilly music in the daytime. Indie, Alternative Rock, Jazz and Lofi HipHop are my favorite genres. When i mix i love to play Disco-House and Techno; Earth, Wind and Fire when i'm drunk, Fucked up acid tekno when i'm about to hit a rave or something:D
Teach, Learn, Share
Somehow im pretty good at nerdy things. So if we see each other and your laptop is dying of viruses i might not resist to help him haha. I would also love to get better at DJing; i own a DDJ SX2, have a pretty big library and i'd love to learn some new skills.
