About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Cycle the Pacific Coast

ABOUT ME

I'm a chilled 22 year old from England. I am happiest and enjoying life the most when I have no responsibilities, just doing what I want, when I want. When I'm in unfamiliar surrounding with like-minded people. I cannot stand monotony or routine; as soon as life starts to slow, I'm yearning to be away again.
Come up with a plan and get it done. Never a spare, bored moment.

PHILOSOPHY

We're on this Earth for a finite amount of time, I want to spend my limited amount doing what I enjoy: seeing new places, people and things.
I just have fun.

Interests

Cycling - I cycle everywhere in the local area on my fixed-wheel bike, I love this mode of transport as it's clean, simple, good for fitness, gets me into a solid, receptive state of mind and gives you a better feel for your bike, your body, your mind and your surrounding than any other way of traveling.
BMX - I ride street and a touch of park, about once per week.
Skateboarding - I met the majority of my friends through skating. I no longer skate that often but I think it's one of the best sports/hobbies someone get into as it pushes you to be creative, active and to explore.
Music - A good portion of my waking life is spent with music in my ears: while cruising on my bike, reading, chilling, listening with friends, mixing (Dj), producing or going to live shows or sets.

Music, Movies, and Books

With media: film, music, books etc I find that I only really enjoy something if it has an effect on me, something which requires me to be more than a passive audience.
I like music that really engages you and that is genuine. I like a broad spectrum of electronic music as you're no longer limited by your skill, talent or sounds that an instrument can make but by your imagination. I also like many styles or organic music. The theme in both is however slightly down-tempo, I can't stand cheesy, in your face, jump-up music.
I like fiction and non-fiction books. I have read many books concerning the physical world around us. As far as academics are concerned that is what interests me the most because whether it's a cognitive process or working through some mathematics the conclusions are definite, perceivable and true.
