ABOUT ME

I am a guy who is trying to open up all areas of my life in my early 50s. This includes where I work, where I live, who I spend time with, what I do with my spare time, and anything else you can imagine.

PHILOSOPHY

I live by the Golden Rule as best I can. I always try to me kind to people and to learn from anyone I meet. I'm not big on judging anyone...as hard as that is sometimes lol

I am completely new to couchsurfing. I have hosted friends before but never officially.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide variety of music and movies. I am a huge bookworm and tend to like non-fiction mostly. My favorite book ever is "The Power Broker" by Robert Caro.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once traveled to Bosnia as part of a goodwill mission to our National Guard troops stationed there on a peacekeeping mission.

Teach, Learn, Share

I very much enjoy English conversation with non-native speakers. It's such a thrill for me when I see something click for them...or ever when it doesn't, and I can try another way to get it clear!
