About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To ground myself with my Australian roots.

ABOUT ME

Here is what I am doing late 2012: I am traveling to Finland with my friend who is going there on business. She is constrained by having to travel direct, whereas my work permits me much more freedom. I am not even prepared to countenance such a thing as a unbroken trip from Sydney to Finland, so I am wisely breaking the journey into two, and the break point is Hong Kong. It is a place I have always wanted to visit.

While in Hong Kong, I will probably see the sites, shop, and eat. I love the hustle and bustle of a big city.

After that, I am traveling to Finland with my female friend who is going there on business. To Levi, in frozen Lapland of all places.

We will be going to Rome after Levi, and will spend a night/day in Helsinki, and me to Tokyo on the way back so it will be a great trip to check off destinations on my bucket list.

First off I'd like to thank the California Department of Corrections for my photo.

I dislike talking about myself as I am very interested in what you have to say, your aspirations, hopes and ideas. But here goes!

I am dry, funny, handsome and passionate, but oh so humble.

I like show tunes, cats, have short bleached blond hair, yet am not gay. I didn't like Bush (he made me mental!), so much so that I got a Brazilian wax for both of his terms. I am very committed to being fit and rich.

You will be a positive thinker, realizing that life is pretty good, beats the alternative hands down.

I don't have much of a CS presence yet, but you can check out my LinkedIn Profile to see what a superb worker I am, and perhaps extrapolate that into superb human being:

PHILOSOPHY

My fave line from a movie is "A life lived in fear is a life half lived".
Strictly Ballroom is the movie, catch it even if you don't catch me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to be a member of SERVAS, a similar organization and still maintain friendships with people I met through that.

Interests

Bullet points. Play tennis. Eat out. Watch DVDs. Do you like Board Games? I love 'em. Taboo, Balderdash, Cranium, Pictionary.

Food: Malaysian, Malaysian, Malaysian. Sometimes it is hard to find. I'll just have to cook it myself. Other than that, my culinary taste is similar to my musical taste. If it ain't rotten, I will eat it. I never met a sandwich I didn't like. Oh, sushi is good too.
