ABOUT ME
I care deeply about food, art and human rights. I thought I was attached to an urban life. I love travel, especially with my wife, Adeline. Wooded bike rides, beach jogs? great quiet, fishing? a fabulous library. I like to dance and laugh. I'm contemplative. Someday I aspire to be a wise and loving father. I love owning my labor. I make things, like bookshelves, beef rendang, and chocolate truffles.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It was magical to arrive in Helsinki before the sun came out and walk down an empty pedestrian thoroughfare. I love getting things done in languages I can barely understand like buying a phone card or a potato card.
I once had the opportunity to fly over Montreal in a four person Cesna airplane. That was ...mwah! We even got a dusting of snow while we were up there.
Exploring the caves of Cappadocia. Exploring the temples of Bagan. Motorbiking in rural Vietnam. Exploring the bayou in Louisiana. Playing in the redwoods on the California coast. Hiking in Parque Tayrona Colombia. Riding the Teleferico in Bogota. OMG, Angkor Wat!! Snorkeling with turtles off Lombok, Indonesia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Not lacking in the practical skills department. I'm secretly a wildly talented chef. So there's that. My dad's a carpenter, and I made a living fixing homes for half a decade in my twenties. I can rehang a door, so it latches. I'm handy. I do a bit of business consulting on the side, so if you have a small business or and idea, and you want to brainstorm it into existence, or profitability, etc. I'm happy to help.
