About Me
CURRENT MISSION:
Make the whole world my home!
ABOUT ME:
Just a Radical Fun Dude from Winnipeg, Canada full of passion for making friends and spreading joy while exploring this big awesome world we live in! From 2012-2019 I backpacked internationally in many places and purposefully lived a nomadic life without maintaining a home base of my own. This was my experimental adventure, to freely wander and discover the world beyond my paradigm, and challenge myself beyond my comfort zone. Since 2019 I have maintained an apartment in my hometown of Winnipeg while still making frequent travel a priority, now doing several trips a year with my girlfriend.
If my travel experiences are to matter deeply to me, I must make a place feel like "home" in my heart, for any length of time I'm there. That looks like immersing myself in local culture and engaging in community wherever I am, while also visiting popular sites unique to each place. My ultimate goal is to live adventurously, make heartfelt connections and friendships all over the world, learn more every day and be courageous enough to try new things that stretch myself and enrich my life! I love being physically active, doing hikes and long-distance trekking, exploring places where few people go, and visiting places of extremes! I'm told I have a youthful energy and a kind, open heart. I enjoy life's simple pleasures like sharing food, art, video games, and diving into new experiences!
I do my best to practice gratitude daily... and despite the hurt in the world, I feel the overwhelming majority of all people are good at heart and wish to be helpful and act lovingly towards others. My overall outlook is summed up in a quote by the late Fred Rogers:
"As human beings, our job in life is to help people realize how rare and valuable each one of us really is, that each of us has something that no one else has- or ever will have- something inside that is unique to all time. It's our job to encourage each other to discover that uniqueness and to provide ways of developing its expression."

Interests
I love to fully immerse myself in any environment I find myself in. I often create art with pen on paper. I'm working at learning Korean, and how to make electronic music. I enjoy documenting my travels with photography and video. I'm a big kid at heart, and love most retro media featuring giant robots, dinosaurs, monsters, scifi and fantasy. I enjoy reading comic books of all kinds, watching 80's Saturday morning cartoons, playing retro video games and tinkering with analog tech. I'm addicted to Korean Kimchi, K-pop, fine teas and dark chocolate. Life is good!!!
