Hey there! I'm Paulina — a 25-year-old Mexican currently living in Montréal for the summer while doing a research internship in chemistry. I'm here for a few months and happy to host (female) guests during my stay!

I’ve surfed twice before and met wonderful people through Couchsurfing hangouts, but this will be my first time hosting — I’ve never had a space of my own until now. I believe this community is all about kindness, curiosity, and sharing experiences — not just couches.

Traveling is my greatest passion, and I do it as often as I can. I love making long-lasting friendships around the world, learning about new cultures, and sharing my own. If we meet, there's a good chance I’ll cook you a homemade Mexican meal and teach you a few words in Spanish!

I speak Spanish (native), English (fluent), German (intermediate), a terrible tiny bit of French (enough to survive in Québec), and I’m slowly learning Korean for fun.

Besides science (I’m a big nerd about entropy — don’t get me started), I’m into spirituality and meaningful living, yoga, arts and crafts (especially scrapbooking and embroidery). I love festivals, concerts, picnics, hiking, museums, wandering aimlessly through cities, and matcha (I really love matcha).

I’d love to connect with locals or fellow travelers, explore Montréal together, and share good vibes, stories, and memories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the biggest watershed moments of my life is year 2020, I was an au pair for four kids in Germany during the pandemic (yes, it was amazing in spite of the year's roughness and difficulties)!
