我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Since I was living abroad I was travelling a lot to see many different places in my sourroundings and I started to use Couchsufing. I consider it as a great way not only to discover a certain area but to meet local people and to get to know their culture and experiences. And surely you can experience so much...
I'm enjoying both hosting and sufing, but unfortunately I didn't get the chance to host many guests during the last time. Coburg is quiet a small and calm place but a great place to visit anyway... :D

I used couchsurfing a lot during my summer trip through Spain in 2017. I was partly travelling through Catalonia when a political conflict was happening. With Couchsurfing I had the great possibility to get in contact with locals, to understand their political situation. My trip became a really unique one, because I noticed Couchsurfing contributes in a great way and fulfilled my travel experience somehow that can't be done in any other way...

All in all I think Couchsurfing is just an amazing possibility and I'm looking forward to meeting you! :)

I'm an active person and I like to be outside, meeting people and spending time with my friends. I like playing handball, depending on the weather and my mood singing, swimming, reading, drinking coffee or tea, cooking and baking , discovering new places or getting lost in a place, enjoying the sun, rain, moon or whatever is there and trees...
I'm trying my best in living a healthy and ecological lifestyle and I'm also interested in different relaxation techniques but I'm still in practicing and orientation process. :)

Music: A good mix of every kind of music, mainly oldies, the Beatles shouldn't be missing, neither ABBA of course :D

Movies: Mostly comedies, some thrillers and fantasy movies, but honestly I don't know many popular movies...

Books: Changing all the time with mood and interest, but mostly thrillers... Some travel stories luke couchsurfing in Russia by Stephan Orth are also some of my favourite books. And "Känguru-Chroniken" by Marc-Uwe Kling are really really funny :D

Living the cold and long winter in Latvia but being so close to paradise at the same time, as you can see in the pictures :)
...but of course there are many more and there will be many more most probably ...

I'd say I'm open for everything!
I'm curious to learn about foreign cultures and habits and I love to hear any kind of travel stories to get inspired for my next trip! I also like to exchange cooking ideas...
Anyway I think everyone is learning unconsciously by every person he or she meets, too, what is a great thing.
And about sharing, of course I can tell you all about my culture, life and anything else you would like to know, just ask me :D

I can share some of my creative, vegetarian recipes also possible for a very small kitchen, some time, baking skills, card games, a cup of tea or coffee, interesting talks, an optimistic attitude and a good mood :D
