Overview
About Me
I’m a student, normally I live with my family in a small village in the centre of Poland and still I wonder why I love travelling so much – nobody else in my family is so much into getting to know new places. However now I'm living in Porto as an Erasmus and I enjoy Portuguese life everyday!
I study in Łódź, at International Faculty of Engineering. Due to this almost everyday I meet people from different countries. In addition I’m a member of ESN (Erasmus Students Network). In the organization as a volunteer I handle mostly with organising trips for Erasmus Students to well-known polish cities. This year we were in Poznań, Toruń, Wrocław, Kraków, Warszawa, Gdańsk, Gdynia, Malbork, Sopot… I’m really keen on organising trips. Even before joining ESN I have been preparing trips for me and my friends. First such experience was travel to Berlin and since this time I travel more and more. And now, on my erasmus I can arrange trips around Portugal :)
Two years ago I was in Norway with three friends of mine. It was the first CS experience and I have to admit that it was the craziest and the best travel I’ve ever had! After that I was in Prague, Zakopane (Polish mountains), Athens and Santorini, Switzerland and now I'm in the middle of the biggest adventure in my life called erasmus :D
My philosophy is to enjoy every moment of my life, make unforgettable memories and never regret things I’ve done.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be able to meet more new people, to travel more and to discover places I would never see with travel agency :)
Interests
First of all – travelling.
I also like photography. My favourite type of photos are landscapes. I used to take my camera everywhere, even when I went for a walk. Now I’m not so crazy about it but still I can’t imagine any longer trip without camera. I’m always impressed how much beauty is hidden everywhere and I like to show this beauty on my photos.
Third thing is Italian. I’m crazy about this language. Everyday I learn new words, listen to Italian radio or read Italian lyrics. And my favourite dish is pizza :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I like rock music, I listen to polish songs, I’m not against pop, I love soundtracks, also songs from Disney movies, I listen to classic Italian songs to improve language and lately I discovered deep house music which is great for summer chill. And I don’t have favourite band.
Movies: Cloud Atlas, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Captain Amerika, Harry Potter, Life of Pi, Ratatouille
Books: series about Harry Potter, Zafón’s books (especially The Shadow of the Wind), Crime and Punishment, Millenium trilogy
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned English! Thanks to it I can do everything what I do now and all these things make me happy.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Polish! (Or at least some phrases)
I can tell you something about photography (both technical stuff and “the art side”)
And apart from being a guide in Łódź and my village I can tell you what is worth to see (not only museums but also restaurants, pubs and clubs) in other polish cities and what is typical for them.
