About Me
Hello lovely people!
I'm Paulina , originally from Poland but mentally I belong to many places. The more I travel the more confused I get about where my home really is, but at the same time, I can't imagine myself without traveling.
I always try to save some money and go to places. In fact, I constantly think or plan some trips in my head ;)
I try not to collect too many material things. Less is more.
I am an open-minded person. Happy and funny - well, that's how I like to think about myself at least! Sometimes more chatty, sometimes prefer to listen instead, always happy to meet new people, listen to their stories, share experiences, create things together.
Life is about the decisions we make and people we meet.
Apart from traveling, I read a lot (but still trying to read more), I run, I learn, I teach. I celebrate life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy meeting new people, sharing experience and stories. People make a difference in life, couchsurfing is perfect for that. I've met some amazing people and I'm sure it would never happen if I didn't join CS.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like many types of music depending on what I do and on my mood of course. I like indie and folk, all the happy songs that make you want to jump and/or dance! Also some deep house and smooth electronic music is cool. jazz, blues, many songwriters... But sometimes I think my heart always will belong to rock. Queen, Journey, Muse, The Strokes, Arctic, Monkeys, Budgie, but also others, such as : Bombay Bicycle Club, Paolo Nutini, Ben Howard, Yann Tiersen, Ed Sheeran, Florence and the machine, James Vincent McMorrow, The Lumineers, Kings of Leon, The xx, M83 and more.
I think my favourite books so far are 'Eat and run' , 'Shadow of the wind' and 'Catcher in the Rye' and "Little life".
Also some Polish books .
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling solo in Asia.
Changing my plan totally and going to Australia instead of staying longer in Asia!
Road trip in West Australia.
Volunteering in Sumatra - helping is good :D
Long distance walk in Australia -cause all you need, you can carry in your rucksack.
Horse riding in Kyrgyzstan. Galloping through the endless valleys - awesome!
Teach, Learn, Share
I try to inspire people, if I can't do it, I try to get inspired myself.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you some Polish (or English). I can tell you about places I've visited and maybe will inspire you to go there, too!
Above all, I can share my own belief in people. We live in a crazy world, but people are good and they would rather help you than harm you.
