About Me

I love to travel and getting to know new people and experience new cultures, I have visited 12 countries and have beloved friends worldwide. Currently on a master in International Communication Studies in Taipei, so sadly I won't be able to have people over, since I am staying at the university dorm. Anyways, if you are up for a coffee or beer let me know, I've been living in Taiwan for almost 2 years, so I have great tips to enjoy the country in the best way :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To really know a place we have to become locals and that is the thing I love about coachsurfing, by staying with locals we will get the authentic taste of any given country. Help me explore your country by providing me some guidance on best restaurants, bars, trails and so on, I would like to become a local while staying with you :)

Interests

I am a very visual person, that's why I have great interest in films, photography and different artistic expressions related to visual experiences. Also have a great interest in food, love enjoying a good meal as well as cooking, specially baking, sometimes I think there's a grandma in me hahaha

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classic rock, and when I say classic I am not talking about Bon Jovi hahaha but Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and so on, but I also have a spot for power pop and ballads, I actually really enjoy all kinds of music, but it all depends on the context, while partying I can enjoy cumbia and reggeaton, but at the same time could be listening to some indie band playing live at a local pub.

So many books and films that had made and impact in me, that would be hard only choosing one. If you are still reading you may have realize is hard for me to have a totalitarian perspective, I simply cannot choose, because it also depends on the genre and of course on my mood. But if you love reading I would highly recomment chilean writer Roberto Bolaño and his amazing work like The Savage Detectives.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided leaving all behind and literally cross the globe to come and study in Taiwan, without knowing the language or having many notions about the country, but I have adored every minute of it, I have made fantastic friends and experience a wonderful culture.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you around and give you tips about this magnificent hidden gem in Asia and also can make really good pictures of you around the city :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you host me I can teach you how to cook chilean food and even bake some delicious cakes for you. I am a really responsible and respectful person and I would take care of your space as if it was my own.
