Overview
About Me
We are a couple travelling during 13 months around the world. Pauline is 27. She is a bilingual teacher. She teaches German for children in a bilingual school. Martin is 29. He's a salesman.
We have both decided to leave our jobs and achieve our dream : travelling around the world during one year.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because we think that sharing a moment with locals is the best way to discover a country.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have already hosted some surfers:
- Smita (China)
- Shaira (Italy)
- Amy and Kendra (United States)
Only very nice experiences!
Interests
During our free time, we enjoy hiking, cycling and "climbing" along via ferrata. We are always looking for new and crazy things to do.
We like cooking, especially specialities from our country. But we also love eating food that we have never tried before.
We love foreign languages. It is always a pleasure to learn some words in a forein language with couchsurfers, and it always ends with laughter.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Pauline :
I went to Israel for 8 days and it was the first time I live so many things in a day. We had the occasion to understand the point of view of Israeli and Palestinians, we slept in the desert, we went to a refugee camp, to schools, to an orphanage, we saw the wall, we met extraordinary people, ... It was the most interesting trip I have ever done. I even wrote my master thesis about bilingual schools in Israel.
Martin :
I am a unicorn. A travelling one.
